UPCOMING EVENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n FREE LECTURE: When Margery Met Julian: Writing Visionary Women Back into History<\/strong><\/p>\n I am so honoured to be a part of the Julian 650 Lecture Series<\/strong><\/a>, sponsored by the Friends of Julian of Norwich, to celebrate the 650th anniversary of Julian’s shewings, her searing visions that inspired her book Revelations of Divine Love<\/em>. In my talk, I will reveal how Julian of Norwich and Margery Kempe, her contemporary, were mystics and literary pioneers who were nearly erased from history. Their face-to-face encounter in 1413, immortalized in The Book of Margery Kempe<\/em>, is a fascinating glimpse into medieval sisterhood and solidarity.
