COMMENTS Don't know if you remember me from WWW but I just read your article in HNS about historical women. Well done! It's my passion. My next novel is also about an actual woman, a Minnesota photographer at the turn of the century. Your words inspire. |

COMMENTS My ten-year-old daughter bought Vanishing Point during our trip to Williamsburg, Va., this summer. The cashier suggested I read it before letting her do so - for content. I'm so glad she did. It's the BEST novel I've ever read. Thank you for this treat. My daughter will love it too when she's older. |

COMMENTS The Vanishing Point contains several letters written by characters in 17th century England. Mary Sharratt's use of language is so skilful that the letters feel authentic; I never doubted that they were written with a quill pen. No Olde Worlde Tea Shoppes here. |

COMMENTS Just finished The Vanishing Point. Wow - I loved this book! Many historical fiction novels turn into a recitation of facts and figures, but this was a very personal, very real story of two strong-minded women. I'm telling everyone about this book - especially my online book friends! |

COMMENTS Mary,
I thought you might like to know that the U of M alumni magazine included a very nice review of "The Vanishing Point" in the May/June issue. The review isn't online yet, but I can always send a photocopy along if you like.
Congratulations on what's shaping up to be another triumph!
